Message from the Superintendent

The following pages are intended to provide you with a sense of the scope and depth of the services offered by the Monroe County Intermediate School District (MCISD) to the students and community schools in Monroe County.

What is most important to know about the MCISD, however, is the commitment and expertise of our staff members who perform their various duties in an outstanding manner each and every day. These individuals insure that the programs and services described here make a real difference in the lives of students.

Our efforts begin at birth for many children and continue throughout the school years into adulthood. These ISD programs and services guarantee that all students in Monroe County have the opportunity to receive a quality education based on their unique skills and personal interests.

Meeting the needs of today's students is an exciting and constantly evolving challenge for Monroe County's community schools. Through the leadership and collaboration facilitated by the MCISD staff, we are working hard to ensure that today's students are prepared for success in tomorrow's world.
