

Parent/Child Readiness Groups
Groups meet at local schools throughout the county. All families with children 18 months-3 years are welcome.
Early Childhood Literacy
The Early Literacy Program supports local efforts to enhance the early language, literacy, and pre-reading development of preschool-age children through strategies, professional development and early childhood literacy programs that focus on all areas of development, with special emphasis on the early language, cognitive, and pre-reading skills that prepare children for school success.
Early On
Available to families with children birth to three who may have a developmental delay or physical impairment.

Programming for exceptional children, birth to 3 years of age.
Great Start Collaborative
The Great Start Collaborative is a partnership of local stakeholders and parents who are committed to establishing and maintaining a comprehensive early childhood system that will address all factors that influence a child's readiness for school and life.
Be Their Hero from Age Zero
"Be Their Hero" is a statewide initiative supported in Monroe County by the Monroe County Intermediate School District (MCISD) and the public school districts in partnership with many community businesses and agencies.
Be Their Hero from Age Zero Summer Camp
This summer camp is offered to any family in Monroe County with a child between the ages of 2-5 years old. Camp is held weekly and is sponsored by the Monroe County Intermediate School District. Emphasis is placed on summer activities to help the child develop in all areas.
Baby Net
Baby Net is a coordinated effort by Monroe County ISD, the Children's Advocacy Network (CAN) Council and the Early On Healthy Start program to provide packets of information to the parents of newborns delivered in Toledo and Monroe area hospitals.
